The central location of Latsch is an ideal starting point for a large number of walks and activities. The nearby Martell Valley embedded in the Stelvio National Park extends to the 3769m high Cevedale, offers a variety of hikes in the valley, panoramic hiking trails in the high mountains with a spectacular view of the glacier world of the Ortler group.

But also Latsch offers a lot of walkopportunities. A good choice is the hiker’s paradise of Tarscher – Latscher Alm. For those who like it a little more quiet it`s recommended to take the cableway to St. Martin im Kofel (1740 m) from where for every taste hikes are possible. Also, the bikers of you will be fully satisfied.

The dry climate gives the Vinschgau many sunny days, so mountain biking in Latsch and surroundings is usually possible from march to november.And if you should like to have a rest day, so just go with the Vinscherbahn – Train to the curecity Merano, to Bolzano to the Ötzimuseum of the man from the ice, or simply enjoy the beauty of the Vinschgau valley. You will be exalted.
